Researchers at Ulster University’s Centre for Optometry and Vision Science recently conducted a wearer trial to evaluate the reception and performance of the Custom All Purpose lenses. The study involved 51 presbyopic participants aged 50 to 71, who were unaware of the specific type of lenses they were testing.
Participants wore the All Purpose lenses for a two week period, assessing their general reception and performance across various visual activities. The trial results revealed high levels of satisfaction, with the lenses achieving an impressive average score of 4.5 out of 5 when participants were asked to rate their adaptation to the glasses.
The trial included participants with prior experience using high performance, branded lens designs, further validating the strong performance of the All Purpose lenses. The study showcased the lenses’ effectiveness across all key areas of progressive vision: distance, intermediate, near, and dynamic vision.
